Hands on Art for Children is an exciting, creative program designed for children ages 3-14 years old. Our focus is to build confidence children by enhancing their artistic skills, creativity, self-expression and individuality through
age appropriate classes. Each class has been carefully designed to support every
child at their different level of development. Activities include painting,
drawing, collage and construction.
Our Program starts on September and ends the last day of May, where we continue with our Summer camps. Every year in May, we celebrate the culmination of our Year program with a big art show where students can invite family and friends to join them in celebration of their efforts throughout the year.

This class helps young children in that important process of development, social growth and adaptation of early years of school. All projects in our Fun Art class are age appropriate and carefully designed to meet the needs of this young age group. A special part of this class is connecting as many projects as we can with literature by reading a book before we start. Creating that connection stimulates the process of writing and reading. In this class, your child will learn to follow directions through step by step instructions. This process of learning helps students with the development of observation, motor skills and attention span. Children will also learn to use art materials appropriate to their age such as watercolor, crayons, acrylics and many other safe materials for “build up” projects.

Fun Art Beginner – 6 to 9 Year Olds
Our projects for 6-9 year olds are a lot of fun and designed to stimulate different skills through the process of creation. For this class, we continue the incorporation of literature. We analyze techniques used in the illustrations, as well the ideas of the author. Then, we proceed with the development of the project by providing step by step instructions - working on observation, attention span, motor skills and more. We wind up by stimulating creativity and self expression by encouraging students to add their own unique details into the project. At the end of class, we celebrate individuality by complimenting each others art work. Children are natural creators and enjoy every step of the process.
Some of the mediums we use in this class are--but not limited to--watercolor, acrylic, tempera, pastel, chalk, clay and paper mache.

Fun Art Intermediate – 7 to 10 Year Olds
This class is perfect for children who love art and want to explore different techniques through open ended projects. Students will experience a wide variety of materials and mediums such as watercolor, acrylics, pastels, color pencil, charcoals and more. They will learn to build projects including paper mache, sculpture clay and more.
We believe stimulating imagination is important.
Students in this class will practice techniques and review selected art
works done by famous artists from history and modern time. Motivation is created
by stimulating thoughts, feelings and perception in a way that inspires and
encourages each student to express their ideas visually, while supporting and
offering individualized guidance during the creative process as needed.

Master Art – 9 to 14 Year Olds
Our Master Art class is intended for the more serious artist. This class will introduce more complex and sophisticated techniques while using
professional materials to challenge students as they continue to expand their
creative skills. There are a variety of art mediums available to the students
to explore and experience first hand the wonderful world of possibilities that
art can provide. In this class, we will again review selected pieces of art by famous artists from history and modern times. Learning from the masters is a great way to find inspiration. Each
month, we will focus on one medium such as, watercolor, pastel, acrylic, oil,
charcoal, pencil, color pencil, markers and sculpture using materials such as
paper mache, clay and wire.

Super Fun Art Home Schooling- Ages 7-14
Super Fun Art Home Schooling is designed for home schooled children who want to develop thorough skills. We combine the exciting concept of Fun Art with the high quality techniques we teach in Master art classes to create the perfect fit for home schooled students. In this class, children will be exposed to different art mediums, techniques and art styles use by famous artists from present and past. In certain projects we try to emulate master pieces, but we believe individual creativity is also important. We love offering opportunities to exercise that creativity on many other projects. Our focus is fun projects with quality.

Once a month, we feature a painting class where participants
follow the instructor step-by-step to complete their masterpiece. Our
professional instructor keeps it simple and easy to follow. Invite your friends and enjoy
